Thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ
Mission
As you travel through the pages of this website, we pray that you will be encouraged to take life's greatest and most rewarding journey on the road to salvation. We invite you to visit us in the sanctuary for worship where you will experience the transforming presence of the Holy Ghost.
Pastor
Elder C. Christie
Clifton S. Christie was born in Lime Hall, St Ann, Jamaica and was raised in the Pentecostal Church in Lime Hall, St. Ann. He migrated to the USA in 1987 and was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost in the same year of his migration. He attended the Triumphant Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, where his father, Bishop George Christie was the Pastor.
Beliefs
One God
"There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in all" born-again Believers. His name is The Lord Jesus Christ.
Salvation
Salvation is deliverance of the soul from sin and is obtained only through faith in the sacrificial death, burial, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and his atoning blood shed on Calvary.
Baptism
We believe whatsoever is to be done, in word or deed, ALL is to be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, including baptism.
Everyone must repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus and receive the in-filling of the Holy Ghost and live in holiness, even as our God is holy.
The Word of God
We believe that the Bible is the undisputed word of God, written by the hands of holy men as they were inspired by God. The word of God is spirit and life. Faith in the word of God will bring about a powerful transformation or change in the lives of individuals. It is a continuous "cleansing agent'' that keeps the believer sanctified and pure.
Anointing
The anointing of the Holy Ghost is the dominant and leading force in the church. Only the anointing can remove burdens and destroy yokes (things that keep an individual bound) in order to bring deliverance, salvation, healing, joy and peace.
Return of Christ
The return of Christ is eminent and this is the hope of The Church - to be ready for his return. "So shall we ever be with the Lord."
"Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it."
Redemption & Justification
Redemption & justification (deliverance from, or the removal of sin, and declared blameless) is through Christ, and is received when the Believer acts on his Faith, and is baptized in his name Jesus.
Newness of Life
Newness of life is experienced when one is risen with Christ by the resurrection power of the Holy Ghost. This is the transforming power that brings about conversion.
The Doctrines
The doctrines of Jesus Christ as given to the apostles for the church.
