Pastor
Elder C. Christie
Clifton S. Christie was born in Lime Hall, St Ann, Jamaica and was raised in the Pentecostal Church in Lime Hall, St. Ann.
He migrated to the USA in 1987 and was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost in the same year of his migration. He attended the Triumphant Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, where his father, Bishop George Christie was the Pastor. Pastor Christie never left his father's side. He supported him in ministry, moving with him from Utica Avenue, Clarkson Avenue and on to Pitkin Avenue.
Pastor Christie moved up from being a Brother, and through the ministerial ranks from Evangelist to Minister and to Elder and currently Pastor. Pastor Christie has always been a Worker in the Kingdom of God. Over the years, he has demonstrated the zeal to serve God with all his might and youth. He has worked as the Youth President, Brotherhood President, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Asst. Superintendent, and Choir Leader.
During his years of faithful service to God and to the Church, God provided a wife for him. Pastor Clifton Christie took to Himself a wonderful woman as his lawful wedded wife, when he married the beautiful, Carlette Christie, 30 years ago, this August. The union produced 3 creative children.
In his new role as Pastor, Elder Christie says he's still learning, and that it is a great experience being an ambassador for Jesus Christ. His vision is, "To take the Gospel to the people and to preserve the Apostolic Heritage and pass it on," as did his father, the late, Bishop George Christie.
"I give all praise and honor to The Lord Jesus Christ who called me to the ministry.," says Pastor Christie.
